19.RUJNA 2010 godine Kardinal Vinko Puljić posvjećuje gradilište i polaže kamen temeljac za ponovnu izgradnju ratom porušene katoličke crkve i tako je Župna Crkva također novosagrađena i obnovljena a radi se o Crkvi sv. Antuna Padovanskoga na Topuzu u V.Bukovici-BiH.
Župu sv.Ante Padovanskoga sačinjava i STARO GROBLJE NA BUBANU !!!!
Dva su dana u Velikoj Bukovici koji su od izuzetne važnosti za ovo selo,a to su :
1. Blagdan Svetoga Antuna Padovanskoga-kirvaj u V.Bukovici !!!
2. Malonogometni turnir u BARAMA svake godine,prve Nedelje u 7. mjesecu !
Na ta dva dana skoro svi Bukovčani se sastanu na jednome mjestu i uživaju u zajedničkim druženjima,oko 2000 i više ljudi se okupi svake godine na malonogometnom turniru u Velikoj Bukovici....nadamo se da će tako biti i u buduće !
Prije rata 1991 godine u V.Bukovici je živjelo 387 obitelji koje su 1991,1992 godine morali napustiti svoje dome i izbjeći u izbjeglištvo po cijelome svijetu,zbog ratnih sukoba u tome kraju.
Iste te obitelji tek krajem 90-setih i početkom 2000 godine ponovo polako počinju dolaziti i obilaziti svoju RODNU GRUDU-Veliku Bukovicu kada započinje i PROCES OBNOVE I UREĐENJA RATOM UNIŠTENIH OBITELJSKIH KUĆA I DVORIŠTA .
Bukovčani su većinom sami čistili i obnavljali svoja dvorišta i kuće.
Od Vlade Republike Hrvatske dobili su DONACIJU ZA GRAĐEVINSKI MATERIJAL U 3. ETAPE....dok su sve troškove oko ugradnje istoga materijala kao i dodatnoga materijala u izuzetnim slučajima...poput proširenja kuće, financijski snosili sami vlasnici kuća i zemlje u Velikoj Bukovici
Za sada je obnovljeno više kuća u Velikoj Bukovici a jedna od tih kuća je i kuća Mile i Ivke Popić iz Velike Bukovice....pa pogledaj te slike....
